Soda

Right-click: open the can and drink it. Sneak to place it; up to four cans, mixed, per block.

What each one's syrup needs:

• Cola: caffeine, sugar, cola nut.
• Cola Zero: caffeine, cola nut.
• Limez: lime.
• Agrumz: orange.
• Blue Energy: caffeine, sugar, taurine.
• Green Energy: caffeine, sugar.

Draws water from a water block touching it, below or beside. The start of the line.

Raw water becomes pure water, passed on to the syrup preparation.

Pure water and ingredients make the syrup. Right-click: its screen has four slots, caffeine, sugar, taurine, flavour. The filled slots decide the soda (see "The six sodas"); a set that matches nothing is refused.

Carbonates the syrup with the CO2 from its bottle: hand it a full bottle and it screws on; empty hand to unscrew it. One bottle makes forty cans.

The empty bottle is assembled at the MoreIndustry: Workshop bench; its compressor fills it with CO2 from the biogas scrubber.

Holds the soda and hands it to the filler.

By contact: whatever is in a machine's output goes to any neighbouring machine that wants it. No pipes.

The layout that works: the liquid machines in a column behind the filler, along its axis, not in a row beside the can line. Nothing flows backwards.

Hand it iron plates: one plate gives four empty cans, put on the belt.

An empty can stops at the station and leaves clean.

The can rides the carousel, makes a half turn under a spout, and leaves filled with the soda from the neighbouring storage tank.

The full can stops under the arm, which caps it with its lid.

The sealed can rolls against the stamp and leaves labelled with its soda: a finished can.

A piece of belt, no power needed. Cans move from machine to machine on the belts; at the end they go into the next machine, a conveyor or any container (a chest at the end of the line).

A can's stages on the line: empty, clean, filled (you can see the soda inside), sealed. Once labelled, it's a soda.

Finished cans stop under the arm; four of the same soda make a carton, carried off by the belt. Never mixed.

The gantry stacks cartons on a pallet. Once full, it goes into a chest, or onto the ground past the yellow and black area.

64 cartons. You can also hand it cartons yourself. Broken when full, you get it back whole; broken half full, only half of its content drops.

Coal, bone meal and one glass bottle per dose. It goes into the syrup's caffeine slot.
